Well, I've been an indoor cat for a couple months, since that woman rescued me after I hurt my foot. Sometimes I miss rambling around my neighborhood, but then I think how I have my own room and regular meals, which is cool. Today, the woman combed me real good, cause my winter coat is falling out. My body must think it's summer, since I'm so warm and toasty living inside. I like being combed and purred up a storm. My foot is better, but I can't jump hardly at all, cause something is wrong with it from the injury. But, I get tuna and chicken a lot. Dude--life is good!
So, decided to see how this Weekend Cat Blogging works. We're hosting this week, so if you want to take part, leave your permalink in the comments or e-mail us at upsiefan (AT) yahoo (DOT) com. And link to this site in your post. I have no idea what that all means, but was told that it's important and that we will be adding the different kitty participants to the end of this post, as we get their links.
So, you are wondering how I'm getting along with that Upsie. She's kind of scary looking, but hasn't been anything but nice to me. Of course, she just wants to eat my food, since I get to eat dry food, and she doesn't. She has something called diabetes and gets shots each day. Shudder. I'm thinking that my bad foot isn't so bad compared to that. Here's a picture of her, when she was standing next to my empty food bowl. I think she was kind of annoyed that I didn't leave her any, cause she was glaring at me. She's big---I wouldn't want to cross her.
I don't know anything about the squirrels--but I hear that they are getting fat. I guess it OK when they get that way. Don't forget about Bad Kitty Cats Festival Of Chaos at Mind Of Mog, The Friday Ark, and the Carnival Of Cats hosted by Missy, KC, Sol and Smokey.
OK, we already have a lot of nice pictures. Here goes:
First up, Maxx and Roxy at Kits Chow are doing their duty at their home, acting as guard sentries. You have to know the secret password if you want to get downstairs. So, (whisper) here it is--"Upsie." Just say that and you can get in.
Mom was very happy to see all the great pictures of Gattina's kitties on My Cats....and Funny Stories. In particular, Lisa looks just like one of my mom's cats, named Katie, who died years ago. She still misses Katie a lot.
You know, we cats are very fastidious and notice when things aren't totally pristine in the house. And you can see that in action at Perfectly Parker. Sorry, humans, we can't help it. We're cats.
Another thing that humans don't understand is how great it feels to sleep in a sink. Zandakitty at Corgifeathers shows how it's done to perfection. Nice faucets, by the way.
Hey, it's too bad that Pumpkin and Kitikata-san didn't have babies together. What a couple they would make. Check her out at Kitikata-san's Blog . So, I wonder if she plans all her humans' car trips?
You must head over to Kate In The Kitchen and see how our old friends Harmon and Bustopher are handling that freezing Minnesota weather. Mom loves to talk about how bad the winters can be in the Midwest, as she lived in Illinois for years.
Which beautiful picture of Stasia at Zazamataz.Com would you choose? I think it would be hard to do. She sure has pretty fur--and it looks like her humans comb her regularly!
Our friends Amar and Luna at CatSynth.Com are in the middle of moving to another place. And they are both trying hard not to accidentally pack each into a box! Good luck you guys!
Things are all topsy turvy with Samantha at Life From A Cat's Perspective. Seriously--she's living upside down.
Izzy at Ilnfidel wonders why more paparazzi aren't hanging around taking pictures of her.
Meowza over at iMeowza should try out for the Olympic gymnastics team. Check out the pictures!
Things are looking a lot better for "Crazy Mom," at House Of The (Mostly) Black Cats. Or, I think so. Now she just feels queasy. I'm sure that Sanjee, Boni, Mini, Gree, and Pepi are taking very good care of her.
Another gorgeous picture from Music And Cats. Poor Lyra is trying to sleep, and there's camera right in her pretty face.
There's a sweet neighbor visiting at Rosa's Yummy Yums. Cat's really know how to relax, that's for sure.
Sophia at Diva Kitty And The Fluffies is doing what all cats do best, sleeping in the sun. She's probably dreaming that her mom found delicious kitty treats for her at the farmer's market.
Check out the drama at Bonnie Underfoot And Victor Tabbycat. Poor Bonnie is being forced to eat wet food (that has been drugged) instead of the dry stuff. I feel your pain, Bon, that's what they're doing to me too!
Meanwhile, over in South Korea, our buddy Jenn at I Got Two Shoes found sustenance with a sausage Mcmuffin. She used her fat fueled energy to give hunky Kamikaze a tickle in a most interesting part of the anatomy.
Wow! Check this out, Gypsy & Tasha at Gypsy & Tasha--Kaz's Cats won an award! I've never won an award, have you? Tasha is pretty excited about it too. Maybe she needs a nice cup of calming catnip tea.
I have to admit that seeing sweet little Merlin clean Dragonheart's ears over at Dragonheart's Domain melted my heart. Talk about cute!
OK, there are so many adorable cats out there. I don't speak French, but take a look at the beautiful kitty at Cuisine Guylaine. Who needs words when you're that pretty?
Poor Puddy, at A Byootaful Life, had to give up her special room, just because a guest came and used it. I hate when that happens. Why do we have to give up our rooms? Because we're cats? Unfair. Oh well, at least Puddy got her room back.
Well, mom needs to get better organized! She overlooked the submission of fabulous pictures demonstrating serious cute sleeping by Baby over at Come What Mae. Sorry Baby!!! Things look very snuggly at their house, so do drop by and take a gander.
What a cute cat you are ! A real big boy ! I hope it is nothing serious with your paw and that it will heal completely. Then maybe you want to go out again. Meanwhile let your woman take good care of you and with the time Upsie will support you too ! Besides Rosie and Arthur who love each other the others are only supporting themselves. Hisses here is a daily happening !
Of course my cats are participating too the link is : http://gattinamycats.blogspot.com/

Hello Pumpkin, I just am admiring your fur, it is so purrty! I think that you are so cute! Upsie seems like a very nice kitty, and you are lucky to have her as a sister. She sure is fluffy. In that photo, she looks a little mad that she did not get to eat your food. Thank you for hosting WCB, and here is my submittal for this week:

Pumpkin sure looks content, and I am thrilled that he has a home and someone to love and feed him. Another success story!
Here's Bustopher and Harmon, and how they are dealing with the deep freeze.

Hi Pumpkin, you sure look comfy. Upsie definately looks unhappy there. Izzy has a post http://iinfidel.com/2008/01/19/the-dearth-of-me/ and Meowza also has a post http://imeowza.com/2008/01/19/jump/ Now Izzy is mad at me, something about who gets the most pics. Meowza is just more cooperative.

The inside life is pretty good, isn't it, especially with regular meals and and lots of grooming. Pumpkin, do you have a soft, sunny spot for napping? Lyra certainly enjoys hers:

Haha, that Upsie picture is hilarious! She is really Maruschka's twin sister ;-P! Both glare into the plates of others with big saucer eyes...

Hi Pumpkin, you're looking very relaxed. Sorry that your foot isn't 100%, but hey, the main thing is that you're warm and cosy inside with lots of food, and people to look after you. Here we are very excited about our first award:

Hi Pumpkin:
Glad to hear you have room and board and medicare! Life is rough outside. I remember what it was like living rough before I went into a shelter! Keep on the good side of Upsie!
Sincerely, Maxx
Hi Upsie:
You make sure Pumpkin knows who is boss! Give them an inch and you know what they'll do. Hope you are feeling OK with the diabetes.
Regards,
Roxy
