I'm OK. Last week I didn't post and some people were worried about me, but I'm fine. I still can't go outside or eat dry food, but I'm adjusting. The diabetes is still a work in progress and the doctor is trying to figure out the right dosage for my insulin. I was a little down, but instead of sulking I watch my life coach, Stewie, on TV each day and his philosophy on life and family relations has lifted my spirits quite a bit.
Or, I think about that guy who plays the cat in Shrek.
If you want to take part in Weekend Cat Blogging, just leave your permalink in the comments below. And I'd be so grateful if you mentioned WCB in your blog and link to us here. And don't forget about The Friday Ark, The Bad Kitty Cats Festival Of Chaos, hosted by Life From A Cat's Perspective, and The Carnival Of Cats.
The first participant is Whaleshaman of Jelly Pizza , who has a new grandson, named Pablo. Isn't he adorable? I hope Pablo is helping his new family feel better. It's still hard to think that Taboo is gone. I think about her and the other kitties who've passed over quite a bit.
You must go to Meeyauw, where Daisy The Holy Curly Cat is featured. Daisy is the most beautiful angel I've ever seen. And she is certainly very saintly, to endure those wings!
Rosie at My Cats And Funny Stories has had a very important adventure--she just got spayed! And she handled it all very well. I think she will be very happy now that she doesn't have to deal with all those hormones!
Pepi at The House Of (Mostly ) Black Cats is looking very beautiful and foofy! Go Pepi, work that foofiness!
The beautiful and wise Bast at Chey's Place has some sage advice about problems in the cat blogosphere. I like that Bast understands humans are lesser beings. But, of course!
There are two words that always tickle my funny bone--"Vishus Deer." You must go to Artsy Catsy and see how those terrible critters have been captured, and put to work so beautifully.
It's Caturday at Pets Garden Blog and Sir Woody, Sonny Bob, and Tigger are dealing with lots of visitors, each in their own special way.
All of us know that Boo_licious at Masak-Masak is a wonderful friend to cats. She has offered a helping hand to so many of them, and her latest efforts found her raising some kittens, and feeding a neighbor's abandoned cats. Now, tragedy has struck and two of the kitties have died. Boo_licious feels guilt, and she mustn't do that to herself! Please go and let her know how much good she does for kitties. Hugs, Boo!
What's the best thing to play in for a cat? Well, we think boxes are right at the top of the list, so go see all the boxes the gorgeous Luna has at CatSynth.
Everyone is off to see elves at Diva Kitty. Gee, I need to find out where the elves are in this area!
Argh!!! Over at Uergedacht they can eat anything--including carbs! I can't eat carbs hardly at all, since I got the diabetes.
Sigh. I wish mom took pictures of me like the ones on Music And Cats. This week Sasha gets caught watching the world go by. But, he looks so darn glamorous!
Fridolin at Rosa'a Yummy Yums almost made a get away! I totally know what you were trying to do, buddy. My mom spoils my fun too. They say they love us, but we just want to have fun, eh?
Squirrel alert!! Willow at Willow's Cat Blog spends time looking at her squirrel buddy, Scooter. He sure is big. I wonder if he's a Fox squirrel, like we have here.
Puddy and her mom, Katie, at A Byootaful Life are having a difference of opinion about the proper way to use the litter pan. Of course, I totally understand where Puddy is coming from. Been there!
Hey, look at this! Osiris, over at Boston Chef shows that you don't need expensive toys to keep cats entertained. We see fun in the most humble objects. We don't need iPods and Nintendo!
Oh looky, my boyfriend Kamikaze, at I Got Two Shoes, shows how he's training for competitive snoozing contests. He's got this thing in the bag.
And here we have Tina, at Foray Into Food, resting up for IKEA tree toppling. It's hard work, so she needs her rest. Don't let those human screams of protest affect your tree attack, Tina.
The extremely polite and beautiful Cece (everyone's favorite guest) visits at Mind of Mog, and Imeowza. And Izzy at iinfidel confronts a water spouting snake. Scary!
I'm jealous of all the fun Samantha and Tigger are having at Life From A Cat's Perspective. It's like a party all the time there. And how cool is that Silent Night being sung by kitty cats?
I don't know whether I'm scared of the Bad Kitty Cats.Com or want to go party with them. And that Zed Monster? Sexy!
Oh my! I thought I was watching one of those French films that mom is so fond of watching late at night when I saw the beautiful pictures of Les Stars De Chattemite.
Fanks for hosting Upsie!
Hope you feel all the way better soon.

Upsie, I hope you get that insulin dosage figured out soon. In the meantime, Stewie is a sure fix for the blues. Thanks for hosting!

Glad that Upsie is doing well. And I kind of like that guy that plays the cat in Shrek also!
This weekend I wanted to give you my WCB post from my cat Willow's blog as she is enjoying watching squirrels from the window. Thought you'd like to see "our" squirrel, Scooter! Here's my link to Willow's Blog:

Upsie, Stewie is my life coach too! Sorry about your health but I know you'll get back on track in no time.
I'd post some Colin and Trixie photos but I've been sans camera for two weekends now. Maybe next time!
Posted by: Shannon | December 08, 2007 at 04:16 PM
Upsie, we need to watch you carefully. If you start crafting a ray gun to hypnotize Mom into giving you more food or you start meowing "Die you harlot woman!" you're going to be in big trouble. Mom might put you in time out.

Hi, thanks for hosting this weekend. We're a little last minute, but it's only Sunday, so it's still counted, right? Today Puddy is throwing me a bone, by not pooping on the tiles! Here's our linkie:

We're late to the party, but here's a video of Osiris with a q-tip that he found on the other side of the house.
He brought it over to his favorite spot in the kitchen (right next to the register where that wonderful hot air comes out of and blows my fur!) for safe keeping.
Special cameo by Bacchus...
