I bet you can't guess what I'm doing. Those flowers are called hummingbird flowers, so I've been staying close to them for days, waiting to pounce on a nice little hummer. But, so far I haven't seen one. So, I decided to check down in the bush, to see if they were there. Don't act like I'm terrible because I want to eat a hummingbird! I'm starving people!!! Well, I'm sure some of you will be happy to learn I never got a hummer.
All I got for my efforts was a face full of pollen and plant stuff. It was very depressing, so I did what any self respecting feline would do.......
I went over to the catnip plant and got high. Of course, I had the munchies even worse. Dang! Notice how emaciated I look?
Weekend Cat Blogging is being hosted this week by Megan And the Bad Kitty Cats, but the link to her site doesn't seem to work. I'll update it as soon as I find out the problem!
Upsie, Upsie. I think you look lean and like a mean hunting machine who should soon meet with success! if not a hummingbird.

"Never got a hummer...." ha ha ha ha! Upsie, what's up with your ear in that last pic? It looks like the sun is shining on it, or something. Kamikaze is jonesing for some catnip!

Upsie, we feel your pain, but thankfully the hummingbirds are on their way south by now so you can't have one. It's not like their very much anyway, y'know?? They're so tiny.
Harmon and Bustopher have been indulging in the catnip lately too, I suppose it's a way to deal with the chill that has come over us and dampened their outdoor time.
You do look quite svelte, my dear. Quite svelte.

Upsie, Upsie, you have it all backwards--first, you're supposed to get high, THEN you're supposed to get the munchies!

Upsie, you look very svelte. Hope that helps the hunger pains.

Thank God you didn't get a hummingbird ;-P! Anyway, be brave and don't listen to your stomach rumble... Hunger isn't that terrible if it's for a good cause!!! Upsie you are a very sweet and pretty "Madame"...

Upsie, I think hummingbirds are a diet food, so grab one if you can.

Awww...I bet all you really wanted to do was play with those pesky little hummingbirds! :-)

Wow that catnip is lighting your ear up!! Pass some over Upsie :o) I hear Hummingbirds give you indigestion so it's probably best you didn't catch any. I say stick with the awwwwesome catnip.
