Hey, I'm hosting Weekend Cat Blogging this weekend. So, please join us here by leaving a WCB link to your blog in the comments section of this post. Oh, and please link our blog to your post, because we love that! Also, you might want to check out the party at Friday Ark. I'm posting early because this weekend is Mother's Day. Remember to be good to your mom. She's the one who cleans your litter pan, gives you treats, and combs your fur. Your dad does that too, and he will have his own special day in a few months. But right now it's about your mom. I ordered my Mom a special cheese selection from a place called Cowgirl Creamery. Mom is nutty about it. Cheese is her trigger food. Don't really know what the heck that means, but she gets passionate about a good chunk of cheese, I must say.
She ate this entire cheese, called Constant Bliss, for dinner. It's made in Vermont and they play jazz and classical music for the cows there, to make better milk I guess. Mom made so many weird noises as she was eating the cheese, you would have thought she was making out with George Clooney. Embarrassing!
Mom let Sundance and me smell the package of cheese before she ate it. I have to admit, it smelled nice and funky! I tried to tear the wrapper off, but mom saved it.
It was so funky, I made that funny expression where I opened my mouth a little, inhaled the cheesey odor and went into a little trance.
If you need more convincing, here's why you should be nice to your mom: To protect your bottom line. She made a yummy chicken stew, with fava beans. And she picked out most of the chicken and gave it to me and Sundance. See, take care of your mom (and your dad) and she will take care of you! We'll have the Round up posted on Sunday.
Awww.. that was pretty nice of you to buy your mom that ymmuy cheese, Upsie. And very sweet of her to let you and Sundance have a go at it. And chicken too!

I'm late but that's old news! Here's Puddy's contribution to WCB. On Mother's Day, when she's supposed to be snuggling me, she's stalking me from under the van, waiting till I get close enough to pounce on! Our post is here:

Thankyou for hosting and I look forward to the round-up! :)

I totally read that fava bean thing wrong - I thought you picked out most of the chicken, and then gave the stew (with all the veggies) to the kitties! I wondered, "Doesn't Sher realize that cats usually prefer the chicken to the favas?" Good thing it only took me 2 days to figure out what you meant. I'm smart.

Oh, that cheese is beautiful! Our cats have very little interest in our food, unless I'm photographing it. Then Sasha has to get his nose in to check it out.
Thanks for hosting WCB! My link is in your trackbacks.

We gave our mum lots of peace this weekend! until we refused to pose for her. Such lovely kitties to take care of their mummy - the cheese looks gooooood.

Hi Sher!
My still-sneaky departed kitty has sent us a message from the Happy Hunting Ground. Purrfect timing too, as I've put together a nice little portfolio of her final photo shoot. I hope we're not too late to join in!
