Even though your antibiotic powers made me sick to my stomach, so I can only tolerate Progresso Traditional Chicken Noodle Soup, I am worlds better today than I was Friday. And thank you Progresso, for those easy to open cans, with pretty good soup. Yes, your carrots are mushy and the chicken is kind of dry, but the broth is good and the noodles are decent. And thanks to Helen Mirren for playing DCI Jane Tennyson on Prime Suspect for all these years. I hated to see Jane's saga end tonight. And thanks, much thanks to everyone who left the lovely comments or sent funny e-mail. They lifted my spirits. And final thanks to Glenna, who remained patient and encouraging as I described all my aches and pains over and over and over......
My stomach is so shaky, I couldn't eat these cute meringue cookies my husband bought me on Saturday. Christine, do you recognize them?
Regular programming should resume on Wednesday. I hope.
I'm so sad to hear you're still not completely recovered. It sounds like you're doing the right things to take care of yourself though. Just take it easy. As I said before, the blog will wait.

My stomach was OK on the Azithromycin but my mouth tasted like I'd licked some sweaty man's armpit! Last dose today.

Our poor sweet Sher! I'm thinking about you here in soggy Seattle.

Yuck, yuck, yuck! At least you should be well on the mend by T-Day.

Kalyn,
Thank you! It's getting better, but this antibiotic is rough.
Tanna,
LOL!!! Yes, my taste buds are dead. But, I also have intestinal upset (my delicate way of putting it) and nausea, stomach pains etc. I usually don't have this with antibiotics. BUT--it kicks butt
on my chest infection, so that's OK. Plus, this may be one of the few holday seasons where I lose weight!!!! Can't eat anything now--not even Progresso. Glad you're almost done--I take my last pill on Wednesday.
Shannon,
Thank you. I've been thinkijng about you when I see the news about the weather in Seattle. But, soggy or not, it's a great place. We almost moved there.
s'kat,
Yes, my last pill is on Wednesday, so I hope I rebound from it. I'm going to a friend's house for Thanksgiving dinner, thank goodness. Don't have to cook. I'm not up to a whole meal right now.

Sorry I haven't written sooner Sher. I didn't realize how sick you've been. I've just read Upsie's story on Skeezix' site and I'm crying. Your poor, dear sister! I'm so glad you have Upsie and that she has you.

Almost forgot, yes I do recognize those little gems. They're from Konditeri and some of them are almond. I can't remember what they're called. I'll put my Christmas stocking out and maybe Santa will fill it...

I'm glad you're on the road to recovery. I hope you have Upsie snuggled at your side, to make you feel better, and that you're back up and at 'em for Thanksgiving.

Those cookies from Knoditeorie (spelling?) in Davis kick butt. As for the soup, yeah, I eat that Progresso stuff often at work. It does the job, as needed. LOL.

Progresso makes the best canned chicken noodle. If it's not from scratch, Progresso is the way to go. I hope you're feeling better!

Glad that you're feeling better. That was a high fever you had. And what a drag it would have been for you to find yourself totally sidelined at Thanksgiving.

Oh no. I hope you feel better soon!!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family! :)

Google Stillstand?
