Mom has been talking so much about Weekend Herb Blogging, so I decided to name my favorite herb for Weekend Cat Blogging. So here's herbs from a cat's perspective. OF COURSE, my favorite herb is catmint. I've seen it featured by humans, but they always make tea or jam with it. Come on fellow felines--let's tell them how it's done. First, make yourself a nice little catnip crown.
Bury your head in the catnip, sniff it, eat a little. Feel the buzz. It's legal.
Then go sleep for at least 8 hours. And if your crown slips, that's OK. Head over to House of the (Mostly) Black Cats to see a round up of other kitties on Sunday And come back here tomorrow when mom will post her favorite herb. She may even roll oround in it.
Very funny. When I get home from work I will record this vote, although we know it's not even close to the best herb!

Upsie is very tolerant to allow things like a catnip crown. Maybe it's because she's so felaxed by the catnip?

This post is just too cute. I wish there was an herb that had the same effect on dogs!

Upsie is so beautiful and so giantly furry. Kamikaze's got a crush on her. He wants to eat some cat mint (and some tuna, and chicken, and cheese, and squid) with Upsie and then "roll around with her." He thinks he's being funny, because everytime he says "yah, man, I wanna roll around with Upsie," he paws at me, winks, and says "you know what I mean, eh?" And then he chuckles.

Upsie you are so sweet, as always! I wish I could rub your luscious tummy and bury my face in your fluffy fur ;-)!

Beautiful Upsie rolling around in the garden. She is so cute. Love all that fur mixing with the mulch. Upsie, dear, did you have the munchies after all of that cat nip/cat mint?

Sweet Upsie! She looks adorable as ever even though she is high on her catmint.

LOL! Too funny! Mr. Mao adores catnip too, we have it growing wild at the trailer so he has a huge stash of it...makes him act very silly. I'm thinking of enrolling him in Catnip Anonymous!
