WCB: My Favorite Flowers
Mom did her post about the beauty of flowers and how peaceful she feels sitting under a crepe myrtle bush in our yard. Snort! Here's one of my favorite flowers--an oleander. First off, it's poisonous, so it's hard core. Ya gotta admire that. Second, I can hide next to it and wait for some stupid bird to make a bad decision. Hasn't happened yet--but it will!
This my favorite purging plant. You cats know what I mean. I eat this plant, and later I throw up a hair ball, preferably on the living room rug.
Right next to it is my catnip plant. Ahhhh. And it's legal.
After my rest, I was refreshed and did some lunge exercises. Gotta keep my ninja skills intact.
Then I went inside and waited FOREVER for my personal assistant to comb the plant debris out of my fur.
The weekend is the time for WCB, created by Clare and Kiri. They are taking a break, but we miss them. I have a crush on Kiri. Hope you guys are doing OK.

oh Upsie, I'm gonna rub your big meaty tummy!!! Sher, I have the catnip plant (call cat mint right?) in my yard too, but my neighbor cat doesn't care it much though...

So wonderful and funny! I was laughing so hard that the whole family group here in Meadow Vista came over to see what was up.
Cat lovers all, Upsie now has 8 more fans.
Is Clare okay?

Oh my god! The tummy to end all tummies. Whenever I'm feeling blue, all I'm going to have to do is look at that photo of her with the tummy out again. And Sher, the posts you transcribe for Upsie are truly inspired and very funny. You ought to find her a publisher!

I love the photo of upside-down Upsie! He's got a belly kind of like Kamikaze's! I think all cats are great, but I'll tell you a secret. Don't tell anyone, mmm'kay?
Upsie is by far my favourite WCB cat. She makes the best facial expressions and her fur is crrrrazy!

hi sher, thx for dropping by and giving me suggestions to use sweet potatoes instead of pumpkin for the pie =) your suggestion really came in handy. why didnt i think of it? thx once again.
by the way, can i link you?

Upsie, you are one sexy kitty!

Gattina,
Yes, it's actually cat mint. Some cats don't like it at all--they seem to be repelled by it. I've noticed that young cats often avoid it.
Christine,
Nobody seems to know how Clare is doing. I'm hoping that she is just attending to other things and blogging doesn't fit into her life right now--but it does make us all anxious that something more serious is happening. All we can do is send her our best wishes.
Upsie says she hopes you're having fun in Meadow Vista! Purrr.
Lisa & Aria,
I'm trying to get Upsie to write down her thoughts, but she gets so bored after five minutes at the computer. Her attention span is not good!!! But, a calendar is a good idea. Hmmm.....
Jenn,
Upsie and Kami both have tummy's so big you could rub them and I'm sure our wishes would be granted. Funny how it's OK for cats to have big stomachs, but not us. Upsie says thanks you for liking her so much! She's hoping you'll go on a big vacation soon.
Evan,
Yes, you may link me if you would like--thank you very much!!! Most people do think of using pumpkins, rather than sweet potatoes, unless they're from the Southern states.
kristi,
Upsie appreciates that you dig her sexiness!

Upsie is darn cute! I like the look on her face on the last picture; quite Garfieldesque!
I would just love to cuddle and hug her. Her belly is very inviting...
You remark about cats throwing up their haiballs on the living room rug made me laugh! Why do they always have to be doing that in such places? I mean, there is enough free undamageable space everywhere else!

I love Upsie's poses. Such a nice tummy to be rubbed. Yeah, we're all worried abt Clare too as she's also not replying her emails. I hope she is ok.

What a beauty! I love her fluffy-ness. She's got the kind of fur that makes you want to rub your face in it and the kind of "look" that says, "Don't even think about it". I did a roundup at http://chefsarahjane.blogspot.com/

Upsie sure has a lot of poses. The one I thought was best was the ninja lunge. She's so cute!

HaHa! It is the Cartman of cats! "No! That's my chicken pot pie!! MOM!! I want my cheesie poofs!"

That is some awesome belly-meat! Spot is officially jealous.

Hi Rosie,
I am glad someone else has seen the best South Park episode of Cartman and the Cheesie Poofs. I'm not fat, I'm just Big-Boned. 'Course I want more cheesie poofs.
These pictures of Upsie are the greatest. Looks like she had a little too much. I wonder how she felt when she woke up after her big day in the garden?

I just love Upsie! She is SO adorable!

Upsie is such a great model. I think you need to get Upsie into show business.
Posted by: steven | July 17, 2006 at 08:11 AM
What a star! I don't know what's better, the food or the kitty pics.

Rosa,
It is mystifying about cats and their hair balls. I have to admit that Upsie rarely throws up a hair ball in the house. She goes out each morning and does it in the backyard. But, many of my past cats seemed to love throwing up on the carpet. :)
boo_licious,
Yes, I love Upsie's tummy. It's like a furry drum.
Sarah J,
Thanks for doing the round up--that was a nice thing to do.
D,
Upsie does a nice kung fu move, I think. Glad you appreciate it.
Cate,
Thanks!!!
Rosie & Bonnie,
Well, that's one of Upsie's favorite shows! If only she could get the voice down pat.
s'kat,
The odd thing is that her vet doesn't think she's that heavy. Isn't that crazy? She's very agile and loves to run really fast all through the house.
tbirdonawire,
Thanks--Upsie thinks she's adorable too!!!
Steven & Jaye,
I really do wish Upsie could get a high paying job as a model. Or maybe a role on TV like the dog on Frasier.
